Open Wednesday - Saturday 10 AM – 5 PM*
In recognition of Juneteenth, this program reframes watermelon as a symbol of cultural pride, resilience, and economic significance within Black agricultural traditions. The conversation highlights the legacy and future of profitable crops cultivated by Black farmers, centering themes of food justice, land stewardship, and seed saving. Featuring Duron Chavis and Bonetta Adeeb, attendees will gain insight into regenerative agriculture and cultural preservation and leave with a watermelon seed starter kit to continue the legacy at home.
Free, registration required.
