Saturday, November 9, 2024
Richmond Community Hospital

Join local historians, activists and community members as they examine the groundbreaking role historic Richmond Community Hospital played in addressing healthcare inequality in Richmond while at the same time empowering the Black community. Panelists will include Delegate Viola Baskerville, Loretta Tillman, Dept of Historic Resources, and Seldon Richardson, author of “Built by Blacks,” and Dr. Leonard Edloe. The hospital’s past presents a powerful argument for saving it from demolition.
